Implus Corporation Welcomes Michael Polk as Interim CEO

Durham, N.C. – Implus Corporation, a leader in athletic, fitness, and outdoor
accessories, has announced the appointment of Michael Polk as Interim Chief
Executive Officer. The change in leadership follows the departure of Seth
Richards, CEO, and Todd Vore, President, who have decided to pursue other
opportunities. 

Michael Polk, who brings a wealth of experience to the role, is also an Advisory Director at
Berkshire Partners. His extensive background in the consumer products sector
includes leadership positions at Newell Brands, where he served as President
and CEO from 2011 to 2019. Prior to Newell Brands, Polk held significant roles
at Unilever and Kraft, beginning his career at Procter & Gamble. 

Michael Polk’s appointment marks a significant step for Implus as we aim to continue our growth
trajectory,” said Dave Bordeau, Chairman of the Implus Board of Directors.
“We are thrilled to have someone of Michael’s caliber join our team. His
experience and strategic vision will be invaluable as we navigate this next phase.” 

Polk’s academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business
School and a degree in operations research and industrial engineering from
Cornell University. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors for
Colgate-Palmolive Company and Logitech International.
